Lovely property with great facilities, especially the well-equipped kitchen. The welcome pack, including excellent banana bread, was a nice touch. Comfy beds, great shower, and a lovely dining/living area. The surrounding rural location is quiet and charming, with a pub just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Loved the free WiFi, now I can post all my fancy cottage pics on Instagram! And the barbecue facilities, because who doesn't enjoy burning their food outside?

Oh, how I missed the sweet sound of the washing machine and microwave, that's something I don't get to experience every day.

The cottage provided all the essential amenities and more, including a well-stocked log burner, dishwasher, washer/drier, and large fridge/freezer. the beds were comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. the TV, Blu-ray player, DVDs, and games provided entertainment options. the cottage was also conveniently located near a local pub. As business travelers, we appreciated these facilities and amenities.

Felt truly looked after, no complaints.

My stay at Rivendell Cottage was absolutely fantastic. The views were breathtaking, and the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The thoughtful owner had left a welcome pack with all the essentials, plus some lovely extras like homemade cake and ice cream. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The property had all the amenities you could ask for, including a log burner, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. And with plenty of entertainment options like TVs, blu-ray players, DVDs, and games, there was never a dull moment. The landlady was incredibly considerate and even provided helpful notes and tips for our trip. I had an amazing experience at Rivendell Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to come back again!

Amazing views, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, cozy living room with a nice fire, and a beautiful garden area. Within a 5-minute walk to the bus station. Perfect for a holiday break or for attending the IOM TT race. Polite and helpful owner.

Felt completely at ease, no complaints at all.

The cottage was well-stocked with all the essentials, including a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter. The owner was also very efficient and responsive in her communication. The cottage's location was great for walks and local transport, with a pub within easy walking distance. it had everything we needed for a cozy Christmas stay.

The mattress in the eaves room was not very comfortable for two people, as it kept rolling into the middle. the cushions for the garden furniture had been left outside, resulting in them being wet when we arrived.

The value for money at Rivendell Cottage was outstanding. The room was cozy, well-equipped, and had a lovely living area. The location was convenient for walks and local transport, with a nearby pub. The staff was responsive and efficient.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings better was if there were more variety.
